Synopsis: I am Chaman. I am 7 years old. I am studying in Grade 2. My mother is not living. But I am receiving my father’s love without a miss. My father is a Doctor. But he is treating wild animals in the jungle who have fallen ill. When he goes to far away places he leaves me with my grandmother. During the last school holidays after my pestering I managed to go into the jungle with my father. One day I sneaked into the jungle without telling my father. There a funny thing happened. A baby elephant came in from of me. I got scared and ran off for life. Baby elephant also got frightened and ran off. Later we became friends. That baby elephant is also like me. Do you know why? He also has not mother. Baby elephant is very mischievous. Therefore I named him “Dangaya”. However he became friendly with my father too. Later without being seen by anybody we brought him home.
